Trying to get my Belkin adapter to work ?

I had my Belkin adapter working at my old home had to move and now my daughter has a net gear router and it does not work. I was told that my adapter should work with a net gear router so what am I doing wrong now. Please help

theoretically, they should work. What you will need to do though is to check the configurations of these two devices and see whether they are communicating with each other using the IP addresses schemes or not. Seek help from a friend who knows how to configure routers etc using the administration panel. If you can't seek help from someone, i would recommend to download the user manual for both of these devices and read them to know how to configure them.

In short, you will need to connect the WiFi Adapter (of Wifi Modem) to the router in such a way that it gets a static or dynamic IP from your router, Once this is done, the WiFi adaptor gets access to Internet, next you need to configure the WiFi adaptor in such a way that your computer and other WiFi devices can connect to it.
