8gb pen drive become 4gb after formatting ?

I have a hp v165w 8gb pendrive. It was working good . But when I formatted this it become of 3.72gb. Except this nothing else problem on this pen drive.

format it again in NTFS format, i hope it will be fine. If it doesn't, read this tutorial to fix it - http://www.troublefixers.com/merge-partitions-on-usb-pen-drive-to-use-the-unallocated-space/
