ABOUT ACER MONITOR ?

Recently i purchased acer 15inch p166hql led monitor. i tried to install windows xp os. i had given proper boot device & bootable xp disc also when i restart my computer for installation blank screen with the message "INPUT NOT SUPPORTED" is showing on my monitor.i checked power cables connected properly or not.similarly same error is showning when i pressed f8.i also checked with installing windows 7 it installed perfectly and working fine. please help me to recover from this problem.thanks in advance....

Note: My system doesnt contain any graphic card. only onboard VGA

u need to bott the PC in VGA mode and turn down the resolution and frequency to max supported by the monitor, for the same, check the same on monitor's user manual.
