My mouse doesnt work ?

My sum vision usb mini optical mouse used to work on one laptop but now doesn't on the other one. The add hardware wizard says the data is invalid and when I go into the mouse settings it says no drivers aren't installed but I have searched on the Internet and found quite a few that look and are exactly the same and it says "no drivers required" but I cannot get it to work. My operating system is windows xp. Also this mouse is not wireless. All your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

after reading your problem, it seems to me there there is some hardware fault in the mouse, if its under warranty, get it replaced.
