Ipad losing connection with internet on wi-fi randomly. ?

Does resetting network settings help this problem, or would a complete restore be the best option. Ipad has the latest software. I have been able to restore by resetting ipad. turning off wi-fi and back on. I have other laptops, pcs, macs, iphones all of which give NO problems staying connected to my uverse wi fi with a 2wire gateway furnished by at&t.
