Reliance netconnect broadband+ not working on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 ?

When I connect Reliance netconnect to my Macbook's USB port, it opens up a folder with 2 files in it i.e. RelianceNetconnect.app and a user manual PDF.
Now, when I click on RelianceNetconnect.app to launch it (as given in the user manual PDF) it gives an error that it cannot be opened and if I want to reopen it. On clicking 'Reopen' also it throws same error.
Please advise.
