I can't get into my online banking since I changed to a different browser. It mentions encryption. Any suggestions?

I changed from IE to Google chrome and couldn't access my online banking. I went back to IE and had no problems. I then downloaded FireFox and had the same issue. Everyone recommends updating the browser to increase the speed which is terribly slow. But when I update, I cannot access my online banking. Any suggestions?
