$RECYCLE.BIN and System Volume Information virus folders. ?
ADVERTISEMENTS
My laptop was recently affected by a win32 silly virus among other viruses. The result is now I have 2 hidden $RECYCLE.BIN and System Volume Information virus folders, in every hard drive partition. This virus affected my computer inspite of disabling autorun and using freecommander to open the USB drive. How do I remove it, without reformatting my laptop ( that too when antivirus is unable to detect it)????
In the past my laptop was affected by the same virus folder, but I ignored it, and continued using my system as it is. Now that my system has returned reformatted from hardware repairs, I'm highly disappointed to be affected by the same virus. Could you please also inform me, as to what all threats does this virus pose. Thanks - regards
