Serious Problem with my LAN..Please Help..!! ?

Hey people,
i have some very serious problem with my LAN settings. Me and few of my friends are connected through a wired Local Area Network, and i was messing around with my PC one day and since then i can't view the items that they share.But, they can see the things that i share.
All the connections are fine as i use the same for playing games over the network and it works good. My firewall is also disable.
I use netscan to view the item that they share and have even tried it using their ip e.g. \6.6.6.1 , but, nothing seems to work.
So, please anyone can help.
