Windows searching is not working properly ?

Suppose if want to search any folder by name "songs" when i was going to that directory and clicking "s" from keyboard it was directly going to search text box in right to corner and searching all the things..which i dont require.so can you please help me in solving the problem.

mayankkishor 		It seems that you are using windows 7.
For the proper searching first put the full name of the file/folder in the search section & then press enter.
After that select My computer in the open list & click it.
Noe the search option will search the whole computer for that particular file/folder
