installing sp1 win7 ran out my battery no charge ?

ADVERTISEMENTS

I have installed in my laptop hp pavilion dv6000 32-bit windows 7,
windows update ask me to install service pack 1 (sp1) for win7 and I accepted.
So it started to download sp1 when my battery was charging.
Then I tried to shutting down my laptop so it logged out and it started to install sp1
I did not realize that it was trying to install sp1 so I disconnected it from the charger.
It was installing the sp1 when my battery ran out.
I tried to reinstall the sp1 but it stack in 9% and then it is doing restart then it start the installation from 7% and again restart. In the end it appear me that the installation was unsuccessful and it restored the parameters.
However, it work perfect but I worry for the stability of the operating system. I need my laptop in my job!
So
Do you think that the operating system will not be stable any more?
Do you have something to recommend me?

Thank you in advance,
Georgios S.

There is no need to worry just install the sp1 update again and it will be fine. During updating mine also had show the same error message stating "Installation was unsuccessful". If you are not getting the SP1 update via Windows update you can get it from the Microsoft website here is the link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyId=c3202ce6-4056-4059-8a1b-3a9b77cdfdda&hash=JEPkvjlcWta1RsayeqYTQv1Vq6siTenRW/Gecyi4EAMs2RwwBBxbUBr/BVghDUFrcqG6tor5ndNZ8var6GebOA%3d%3d

Hope i've helped you.
