Open Question
I would be glad if anyone can suggest the way forward to the scenario below. A secondary harddisk with two partitions was given security access (not shared) to a domain user only (e.g. ABCYusuf). The local administrator access and other default access levels was removed from both partition. The harddisk was removed and sent over to a different place. Upon connecting, the harddisk and its two partitions are detected but the partitions are not accessible. Can anyone help on how to remove this security setting so that the contents are accessible on the other computer which is not on the same domain. Tips to solve this problem on Windows XP and/or Windows 7 will be highly appreciated.
