System recovery on HP Pavillion a1350n Media center ?

PC was reformatted and F10 no longer works, but the recovery files are still there in drive H. When I browse through looking for an exe file none to be had but all packages are there..The person who reformatted my PC did only a partial of the drive..not all files are there for Media Center..HP no longer has files that I need..Is there a trick to find the proper file in H that would allow me to do a complete recovery..Regular system restore through win won't do.Thank You
