can there any software which can check and download updates for my winows xp SP2 ?

Hello sir my name is Bappa.I need to know that can there any software or application which can help to find and download updates for my OS.because through my OS i cannot find updates for my OS.I think this is all of fault my slow internet connection.
so if you can help me?
