My sound recently stopped working, everything checks out ok according to windows, but still no sound. ?


ADVERTISEMENTS

On startup there are three loud tapping noises that come from the speakers and that is it, no more sound afterwords. I plugged by headphones in recently and there was no sound, so I unplugged them and there was no sound anywhere. Then I was told the ctxfihlp.exe was not working, so I disabled that, but still no sound. Please help.

Re-install sound driver and try again
