Regarding Website offline testing ?

When i running my website on local host.it shows an error "Operation must use an up-datable query" i am unable to solve this . can any body help me in this matter. My website include some dynamic section also

ashishb 		This error occurs due to database write permission

For this you need to give write permission to your directory


Steps:--

1. Go to run

2. Type inetmgr

3. Expand local computer name

4. Expand Web sites

5. Expand default websites

6. Right click on your directory name

7. In all task select permission wizard

8. Click on next again next

9. click on yes, click on next,next

10. Then click on finish



In some cases the below 4 steps are also required



11. Right click on your virtual directory folder. (Folder through which your virtual directory connected)

12. Click on properties and click on security tab.

13. Select user and click on full control check box

14. Your database write permission assign successfully



Run your directory again, it must running this time.
