How to access the administrator account in XP?

I gave my desktop to a computer repairman who fitted a new hard-drive and installed XP in it. He gave me all the drivers and software I needed and I proceeded to install them one by one. Everything worked except the driver for the sound card. When I tried installing it, a message pops up telling me to log into the PC as the administrator. I checked the user accounts and it says that the account I'm currently logged in as IS the administrator but I still cannot install the driver. I tried disabling my own account and then letting the computer reboot with the built-in administrator and I still cannot install the sound driver; it gives me the same message. What do I do?

ashishb 		Restart your computer when you see the welcome screen or login screen press ctl+alt+del (1-2 times). a windows appears type administrator in username and leave password field blank and press enter. After doing this you enter in the administrator account . Install your driver this time.
