personal network on and wireless on, print via network stops network. Why?

Personal network is ON and not connected to any wireless system, each computer having its own wireless. A printer is connected to the network. All machines and printer have their own ID and number. When any machine has both network and wireless ON when trying to print, will not start and access to the wireless is blocked. Systems running Windows XP (SP3) Pro and fully updated, and no viruses as best as one can tell nowadays (never guaranteed).
IP addresses for all machines start with 192. 168.1. -- numbers are 5,7,9,11,13 etc. no conflict.
So, Why and How to fix please?

It maybe because of printer spooler service problem on the computer which is connected to the printer or the one giving the print command.
try restart the printer spooler service - http://www.troublefixers.com/printer-stuck-not-printing-printer-jammed-print-queue-stopped-or-printer-not-working/
