I am trying to watch tv shows from my ipad onto my television ?

I have the red, white and yellow cable but nothing is appearing on my tv. I have a newer tv with all the current hookups. I have gone to setting on my ipad and changed it to NTSC and turned the widescreen on. I changed the tv input on my tv but it that doesn't help any.

ensure that you have connected the cable correctly on TV on input side.
Also ensure that TV output is enabled on iPad.
