dvd drive opening & closing on its own frequently. what to do?

anu_karnal 		This is a hardware fault. The cd/dvd drive may not be in use for some time or there is dust in the DVD tray mechanism. Better to replace with a new drive. If you can open and service the drive, but needs some experience. All precautions should be taken to avoid electric shock and system should be turned off and disconnected from electricity or UPS before opening. A set of proper screw drivers and other tools are also required.
