What causes your mouse to bring up other things that your not trying to click on?

When I click on the start button, it brings up a shortcut menu instead.....How do I fix that?

itsonlyme 		Scan your system with a virus scanner like cleanIt (free) from drweb dot com. Its common for illegal software to mess about with the system, keys, mice and practically everything else to stop you doing what is necessary and to stop you from finding them and killing their software. Just use a good scanner and it will be detected and you can choose what to do with it/them.
