How do i start receiving emails from my facebook?

my notification settings are switched to receiving any updates (wall comments, photo comments etc) from facebook....and when im online on my yahoo messenger and whenever someone posts something new...i see it pop up on my yahoo account....but when i check my yahoo mail its not there...i even deactivated my account....activated it back...turned off the notification settings and turned it on back again...changed my password...everything. recently my facebook account was hacked. but i changed my yahoo and facebook passwords. but since i did that ... everything on my facebook is so weird now. even random mails from people i see them show up on my yahoo messenger but it never reaches my mailbox. and im worried :(...please help me!!!
