Problem burning music from HD to CD-R & CD-RW ?

When using Vista to burn music from Hard Disc to CD-R it tells me 'not compatible' and rejects the disc & pushes out the disk from the drive.
Tried buying new Verbatim CD-R disks but same thing happens.
Then bought Sony CD-RW discs and they will burn OK but will not play in car yet they play in house CD player.

itsonlyme 		Your car CD player may only work on CD-R not CD-RW. Most home CD players accept Both now a days.
On your computer, try un-installing the drivers for the Cd writer and re-installing them, that usually solves the problem. If not the case, update the drivers system.
