my mic doesn't work with vista ?

Hi,
Recently I purchased M-audio Fast track Ultra which is connected to Windows Vista 64bit SP1 .I loaded the latest software and it looks like its plugged in sucessfully. Now I am trying to connect my ST 79 condenser mic to the sound card but the mic doesn't respond. I tried also my dynamic Shure mic and it is the same problem. No signal I have checked the icon for recording devices on my control panel and it shows that mic is not plugged in . How to fix it to get my mic work with Mixcraft 4. Please help I am new with this stuff. Thank A lot Renata

go to the official website and download the 64 bit version of the software drivers.
